Two great tours with Walk With Me Tours!

We had 2 days of great touring with George and Walk With Me Tours. The first day we did a walking tour of Biltmore Village and Downtown Asheville. George was full of information about both places and tips on things to see, dining, etc. The other tour we did was a Waterfall tour of the area. We saw 4 beautiful waterfalls and George tailored the tour to fit our needs. He gave us great commentary on the forest as well as history of the area. It was great to be picked up for both tours at our B and B in very clean and comfortable vehicles. We would highly recommend Walk With Me Tours for ANY tours that you can customize and enjoy in comfort with a trusted guide!

A wonderful morning with George

We always like to find a nice tour by a thoughtful, informed local who can really tell us about a place and show us things we otherwise would miss. We got exactly that and more from George. George was a delightful man and we enjoyed every minute of our fascinating tour. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

Great way to spend a day in Asheville

George was one of the best tour guides we ever had.. His knowledge of Asheville (including the Biltmore, Park Grove Inn the city and Pisgah National Forest was exceptional. He is a very friendly guide and listened closely to our requests to make our tour personalized to us. We would definitely use him again...

Best tour guide in Asheville!

Best tour guide in Asheville! Super happy with the group tour we booked for our fall leaf viewing on the parkway. Would do it again when visiting - hopefully next spring!

Definitely recommend

We went on a five hour hiking tour in the Pisgah National Forest area. George, our tour guide, took us to a beautiful waterfall and atop a tall fire tower with gorgeous views. I would definitely recommend this tour for any family!

Biltmore Village walking tour

I met Sue and George Luther today for a walking tour of Biltmore Village. I was familiar with this part of Asheville, which is located just outside the gates of the Biltmore Estate, and thought I knew its history. I did, sort of, but learned so many new things that I wasn't aware of. We started the tour at the Cathedral of All Souls, built by George Vanderbilt, and strolled around the village, seeing the old train station, original houses, and two hospitals built by GV (now used as offices and a boutique hotel). It was amazing to imagine how this area must have been 100 years ago, and Sue and George really helped us to visualize that. They brought photos of the original village, which were fascinating to look at. I also left with a much better sense of the Vanderbilts themselves. This was much more than a neighborhood tour, and the Luthers are delightful people and guides. Highly recommended!!

Day Trippin’ in Asheville

George was our perfect choice. A friend and I were in Asheville to explore the area and George provided us with a wonderful day filled with art, history, culture, and community information. He expertly customized the sites we visited, gave us opportunities to meet the locals, ask questions, and take a closer look at anything that captured our attention. He has an amazing grasp of local history and personalities, architectural landmarks, and the unique characteristics of Asheville neighborhoods. And he's friendly, fun, and a real Southern gentleman. Who could ask for more? Suzanne, 2023

Waterfall Tour - we had a great time and enjoyed meeting both of you. We will be recommending you to some of our friends as well as letting the hotel know you were awesome! Howard and Wendy 2023
