Join a former Park Ranger and his wife to experience one of our guided hiking trips off the beaten path to waterfalls and mountain vistas near Asheville. Avoid the crowds and enjoy nature at its best. All guided hikes are customized to what you want to see and offered when you want to go. Tours are customized for all age groups and fitness levels. We have permits for all of the federally and state managed lands in the area so we are able to offer more options to our guests than other tour company. The following are just a few of the areas for our great hikes:

Pisgah National Forest – guided hikes to the top of mountains or easy strolls to some of over 250 waterfalls within 60 miles of Asheville.  Learn how George Vanderbilt started the first forestry school in America and created this first national forest east of the Mississippi.

Mount Mitchell State Park – join us to hike the trails on some of the tallest mountains east of the Mississippi and enjoy the views of over 60 miles in the first state park in North Carolina

Dupont State Recreation Area – join us for hiking to some of the largest waterfalls in North Carolina and those featured in the movies The Last of the Mohicans and Hunger Games. All tours are PRIVATE for families and groups of 1-6 guests. We provide transportation on our tours near Asheville, NC. Amazing tours to amazing destinations.

Blue Ridge Parkway Hikes - for incredible views and amazing hikes join as we hike the many trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Whether you want to go to a waterfall or to the top of some of the tallest mountains in the East, we can create the tour right for you.

This is the ultimate in Blue Ridge Parkway and pleasure experiences - treat yourself to the unparalleled beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  You will experience 60 miles scenic views on clear days. See Georgia and South Carolina from one of our stops. Along the Parkway we can stop at the former location of George Vanderbilt’s summer lodge. You can enjoy the stunning view and learn some of the history of the area. From the Parkway we will drive into beautiful Pisgah National Forest. We will stop at a beautiful waterfall located right beside the road so there is no hiking here. After a brief stop at the Visitors Center we will return along the Blue Ridge.

River Stroll and Waterfall - Jewell of the Pisgah's. Join me on this beautiful stroll along the Davidson River before we head to Looking Glass Falls. Looking Glass is used by the Western North Carolina Tourism Bureau to attract visitors to the area. Very beautiful.

Best Of The Best Waterfalls near Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Brevard and Hendersonville This is our guests favorite waterfall hike. Take an easy hike to some of the largest waterfalls in Western North Carolina, waterfalls featured in the movies The Hunger Games and Last of the Mohicans, view Looking Glass Falls (no hiking here), drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy 50 mile scenic views on clear days.
